Solo travel

Hello and welcome to my first blog.

I have recently booked my first solo trip and thought it would be a good idea to document it, both for myself and for others who are on the same path as me.

I have been travelling now for a few years, with friends or family to various locations  around the world, however due to the usual (no one else could afford to come) I have booked my next trip to travel completely alone- daunting, I know! As this will be my first trip solo, I have opted for some tours throughout my almost 2 month trek. I have done this mostly for safety as I will be travelling through Mexico and some parts of South America and have been advised by some knowledgable friends that this is the best option for my circumstances.

I leave from Australia in October and will try to keep you updated on my travels and any information or tips I collect along the way.
